Carstairs Shed
Inside Carstairs shed looking out into the darkness of 3 January 1964. Star attraction on this occasion is Gresley A4 no 60011 Empire of India. The Pacific, which had been reallocated from Haymarket to Ferryhill in June 1962, had most likely worked into Carstairs on the afternoon 'Postal' from Aberdeen.
