'Sosban fach yn berwi ar y tan....'
Not the kind of sounds that would normally drift across the rooftops of Hawick on a Sunday morning.... but Sunday morning 7 February 1965 was different. The noise generated by hard-working Black Fives 45364+44867, as they lifted the 1X37 10.00am return Edinburgh - Treherbert rugby special out of Hawick, was but a whisper compared to that from Welsh rugby fans still celebrating their hard-fought 14 - 12 win over the Scots at Murrayfield the previous day. [Wales went on to win the championship that year.]
