Warton
A branch of the Carnforth Ironworks tramroad was used for tipping slag alongside the Keer estuary. The old slag heaps have now been incorporated into a local landfill site but parts of them are still visible as is this section of the old formation looking south alongside the River Keer estuary towards the sea.
