Clayton no D8505 at Millerhill depot on a Sunday afternoon in November 1969. Barely a year earlier, in December 1968, it had been seen in store in the old steam shed at Kingmoor, having been withdrawn after only about five years of service. However, it was subsequently reinstated and worked from both Polmadie and Haymarket depots before final withdrawal.
