Carnforth
BR Standard class 9F 2-10-0 no 92091 photographed at Carnforth in 1968. As with many locomotives around the end of the steam era, number plate, shed plate etc have been removed and replaced by paint. Following 'official' withdrawal in May 1968, no 92091 was finally cut up at Wards, Beighton, on 30 November, exactly 12 years after it first emerged from Swindon Works.
