Wolverton Works

Although much of Wolverton Works has been turned into a Tesco, they kindly preserved the original works fire station. It is now a bookshop - an ironic touch for fans of the Ray Bradbury sci-fi novel 'Fahrenheit 451', in which people live in fireproof houses, and 'firemen' are employed to burn books.
