Having found what may be the world's shortest standard gauge railway see image 30642 we now have what could be the record for double track (look at the far end of the platforms, before the new factory building). This station on the Bedford - Cambridge line (whose name comes from its location adjacent to the former A1 road) is very well preserved - there is the main station building, a signal cabin, and a goods shed beyond - but, sadly, it will never see trains again.
