A box camera photograph from 1962 showing the view north across the tracks towards Greenlaw Goods, standing in the 'V' of the Paisley and Renfrew lines to the west of Arkleston Junction. The photograph is taken from the point where the south to west curve of the ill-fated Paisley and Barrhead route from Paisley East would have joined the main line. At this time the abutments of both bridges on the triangle over Greenlaw Drive and Barshaw Drive survived, as did the embankment carrying the planned south to east curve.
