Manningtree
The station buffet/bar at Manningtree has a good reputation today, but in 1984 the ambience of its outdoor seating area left something to be desired. There weren't any customers prepared to relax in it on this day, but it was January 2nd and patio heaters were a long way in the future. At least there was a view of the countryside. Now it's a view of the car park.
