Irvine

08344 stands at Irvine circa 1985. It is alongside the old loading bank which was its normal stabling point adjacent to the Down Main across from the signal box which it is obscuring. The 08 was the resident ballast sidings shunter here and travelled to and from Ayr MPD for refuelling every Saturday morning.
