The surface level buildings at Govan Subway station are the most
substantial on the line. This is operationally the 'main' station where all trains pause for a few minutes and where the last trains terminate at night (well, they've got to stop somewhere). It remains to be seen whether the architecture of the late 1970s will stand the test of time: to 2010 eyes it's certainly distinctive.
