Old Oak Common

Withdrawn Class 42 Warship D809 Champion languishes at Old Oak Common behind three stored Hymek Class 35s. Whilst a large number of the class spent their final years in blue livery D809 was withdrawn from Newton Abbot in October 1971 while still carrying maroon paintwork. By October 1972 it had been called into Swindon and broken up. See image 23251 for a view from the other end of this siding.
