Westoe
NCB electric locomotive no 9 (AEG 1565 built in Germany in 1913) photographed outside the NCB's shed and workshops at Westoe Colliery, South Shields, around 1959. The colliery finally closed in 1993 and this locomotive is now preserved on the Tanfield Railway.
