Andalsnes

No, not America in the 1950s - Norway in 1995! Heading a westbound passenger service, Di3 No 3632 drifts down the gradient towards the Andalsnes terminus of the scenically dramatic 71-mile 'branch line' from Dombas. Between 1954 and 1969 - under licence from the EMD division of General Motors in the USA - the Trollhattan (Sweden) NOHAB works built 31 of these 1,775hp Di3s for Norwegian State Railways.
