Strathyre
An Easter 1966 view of Strathyre's station and crossing loop on the Callander & Oban line (closed in September 1965). The track through the station - which had featured a platform fountain sculpture of a heron, partially hewn from Ben Cruachan granite - was lifted in early 1967. A similar heron sculpture survives at Dalmally station on the remaining section of the Callander & Oban line.
