Stratford Shed
Holden J69 0-6-0T no 68566 stands alongside the conveyor carrying coal up to charge the storage bunkers of the gargantuan coaling plant that served Stratford shed at that time see image 32083. The photograph is thought to have been taken in the late 1950s. [Locomotive no 68633 of this class (restored as GER no 87) is preserved at the NRM in York]
