Balloch Central
65I Balloch Shed was barely a shed, consisting of the turntable seen here to the west of the Balloch Central - Balloch Pier line and, at Balloch Central, a water tank and covered siding behind the northbound platform. The shed closed in November of 1960 but re-opened for the period when electric trains were temporarily withdrawn before closing again in 1961. This photograph was taken early in 1991 after the Balloch (New) to Balloch Pier line was entirely lifted and looks towards the former Balloch Central station. The trackbed has subsequently been landscaped. See image 32345
