Holyhead bound Virgin Voyager 221113 is ready to leave Euston on 18 January at the head of a ten coach train. The Up working to Euston is interesting as one set leaves Lancaster at 0535 and joins the second from North Wales at Crewe. On this day the train had arrived 20 minutes late, via the Northampton loop, due to a broken rail at Rugby and a quick turnround ensued to get the unit back on schedule. The stock of the Caledonian Sleeper can be seen on the left waiting to leave for Wembley sidings.
