Wetheral Viaduct
View east across the valley of the River Eden over the 5-arch Wetheral Viaduct on the Newcastle and Carlisle line. The photograph was taken from the footbridge at Wetheral station during fine, misty, Cumbrian rain on 12 May 2006. Note the footway running along the north side of the viaduct which provides a pedestrian link with the village of Great Corby just across the valley see image 32217.
