Inside the roundhouse at Tweedmouth on 6 June 1959. In store at the time were three locomotives belonging to the National Collection. Seen here is LBSCR Terrier 0-6-0T no 82 Boxhill, while nearby were SE&CR D class 4-4-0 no 31737 and LSWR T3 4-4-0 no 563. The locomotives spent approximately a year here from July 1958. They can be seen today on display at the NRM with the first two currently at York and no 563 at Shildon.
