Chirk
A northbound service approaches Chirk station in February 2011. The southern ends of the platforms are out of use. To the right was the former Glyn Valley Tramway's 1885 extension to Chirk and below (and to the right) is the Shropshire Union Canal's Llangollen Branch running through the Chirk Tunnel (the 'Darkie' Tunnel).
