Tondu Junction
150242 about to relinquish token as it runs into Tondu station from Maesteg on 16 February 2011. The unit will leave as the 13.07 service to Cardiff Central. The mothballed Ogmore Vale line runs off to the right of the DMU, and the sparsely used freight line to Margam is seen joining the operational line in the centre right foreground. There is apparently a proposal (late 2011) to operate a 30min frequency service to Maesteg, as on other lines, and this will no doubt make use of the loop line seen behind the DMU to cross services on the otherwise single track route from Bridgend to Maesteg.
