This is an extract from an Air Raid Precautions edition map of
Edinburgh at a special scale. There's no publication date, but the
imprint date appears to be 1947 which makes me wonder what the
government was thinking. Anyway the once-important port of Granton is hoaching with railway lines. Pilton Junction West serves the gasworks, which once had its own station (where it says 'FB'). The CR branch split again at the romantic-sounding Breakwater Junction (and I doubt very much whether that sheepfold was really still there in 1947). Granton [Harbour] station is shown as open, but it had closed in 1930.
