The southern end of the Kilbirnie Loop and the Beith Town branch seen on an OS One Inch Map of 1957. At this point the station currently known as Lochwinnoch -the one on the 'main' line - was closed. It had opened as Lochwinnoch, became Lochside, closed, reopened as Lochside when the Kilbirnie loop closed and was finally renamed Lochwinnoch. Crown copyright 1957.
