A 1921 map extract showing the simple station layout at Machrihanish, terminus of the 2'3' gauge railway from Campbeltown. The hotel shown by the station is still there, see image 33499 and in 2012 re-opened after a major refurbishment. The station driveway has been converted into a road leading to a small housing development that encroaches onto part of the station site.
