Pollokshields West
An outer Circle train pauses at Pollokshields West. The modern shelter is hardly comparable with the old building, but at least gives some protection from the elements. It seems incongruous that the street level building at Strathbungo, closed since 1962 and seen in the distance, remains standing but then it was easier to give that over to other uses (currently 'Susies Store', no ').
It always feels to me like the station names should be Pollokshields North and South but a quick look at an OS map confirms the 'horizontal' distance is greater than the 'vertical' distance between Pollokshields East and West.
