The ECS for Day 7 of the Great Britain IV hurries through Woodacre behind GWR Castle 4-6-0 5029 Nunney Castle. The empty train was on its way from Carnforth to Preston to start the leg to Bristol via the Welsh Marches route. Although not due to leave Preston until 8.43am the ECS movement ran 25 minutes early passing Woodacre at 6.55am. Its hard to believe that there have been two Castles on the main line in Lancashire in the space of one week See image 33681
