Class 50 no 414 returning light engine from Millerhill to Polmadie see image 32389 is stopped on the approach to Niddrie West Junction on 13 October 1970. The hold-up is caused by class 26s 5303 + 5304 snaking across the formation with MGR empties from Cockenzie PS destined for Fife. Niddrie West signal box stands in the middle distance with the outline of Arthur's Seat just visible through the haze.
