Rochdale
With the Pennine Hills in the background 144020 calls at Rochdale on a Manchester to Leeds (via Hebden bridge and Dewsbury) service in March 2011. The area outside Rochdale station was excavated at this time for the installation of the Metrolink Tram extension from Oldham via Milnrow that will run down to Rochdale town centre. Note the For Sale sign on the tower, part of Rochdale's former fire station.
