Classic scene at Arisaig in the summer of 1966, with the 'beaver tail' observation car on the rear of a Fort William-Mallaig train. This was one of two such vehicles built for a special train to mark the coronation of King George VI in 1937, and subsequently deployed on the LNER's express 'Coronation' service between London and Edinburgh.
