Eden Valley Junction
A southbound DRS container train waits in the Eden Valley loop just
south of Penrith on the evening of 30 May 2011. This was the point at which the NER line to Appleby and Kirkby Stephen left the WCML and headed east. A short distance away behind the camera is the site of the former Clifton and Lowther station.
