Ribbleton [1st]
Cromwell Road bridge in Ribbleton still spans the trackbed of the old Preston to Longridge branch line in 2011, but it is a much rebuilt and plainer structure these days. The trackbed is now a footpath/cycleway although proposals to relay tracks for a tram service continue to be aired. View towards Longridge. See image 34401 for the same location in 1966.
