Portpatrick
A view from Portpatrick headland along the old trackbed towards the terminus in May 2011. This is where the branch emerged from the clifftop cutting and curved round as it dropped towards the station at the head of the small valley. An underbridge was still in place by the large house when the 1999 OS map was printed but has since been removed for the access track seen here. The line closed completely in 1950.
