Crawford Viaduct [Camps Reservoir Railway]

The bridge that once carried the narrow gauge Camps Railway across the River Clyde at Crawford, seen here on 5 August 2009. The 3 ft gauge line was built in the 1920s by Lanarkshire County Council to transport materials required in the construction of Camps reservoir, located amongst the hills in the middle distance. The supply yard and exchange sidings alongside the WCML stood off camera to the right.
