Gollanfield
An early morning Aberdeen to Inverness service runs through Gollanfield. 158706 is passing the overgrown trackbed of the short Fort George branch, which left the mainline here but closed in 1958. The trackbed is heavily overgrown at this point but the branch formation runs on an embankment and is clearly visible for most of its length.
