Four of the six DRS Class 20s were removed from storage at Carnforth on 5 July 2011 and returned to Kingmoor for attention and a possible return to service. The view of the yard has therefore opened up again and resident shunter 08485 is seen here on 7 July pulling a rake of WCRC coaches past the coaling tower. 47772 in faded RES livery remains on the storage road with several other locomotives.
