Ivatt 2-6-2T no 41222 is station pilot at Carlisle on 14 August 1965, seen here shunting the sidings on the west side of the station. [This push-pull fitted locomotive had arrived at Upperby shed around 6 months earlier, having been used on the Newport Pagnell branch until its closure the previous year.]
