Ystrad Rhondda
Arriva Trains Wales Sprinter 150240 runs into the station loop at Ystrad Rhonnda on the 14.17 ex Treherbert to cross the northbound service. The single line sections north to Treherbert and south to Porth are both token operated, from token machines located on each platform, and these see extensive use for the half hourly weekday service.
