Beasdale
Not at all typical of West Highland Line station buildings, Beasdale (seen here in 1966) was opened as a private station for nearby Arisaig House when the Mallaig Extension began operations on 1st April 1901. However, according to John Thomas in 'The West Highland Railway' (1965), Beasdale station catered for the public from its opening.
