Blackburn
Black 5 no 45407 (left) and 8F no 48476 at Blackburn Station on 4 August 1968 in connection with the RCTS End of Steam Commemorative Rail Tour. (The train itself is standing off picture to the left.) 48476 has just come off the train, having piloted 73069 from Manchester Victoria, while 45407 is about to take its place in front of 73069. The pair will then take the special forward to Hellifield and Skipton, returning via Burnley to Lostock Hall.
