Ardrossan Shed [GSW] [2nd]
The yard and shed at Ardrossan, seen in November 1962. The lineup (left to right) includes 67D based locomotives 42191, 40625 and 40668. The latter pair were 'stored' at that stage, having been officially withdrawn in October the previous year. The Stanier 2-6-4T was officially withdrawn the following month. Ardrossan shed closed completely in February 1965. See image 28561
