Hest Bank

Freightliner's 66507 powers north alongside Morecambe Bay with empty coal hoppers bound for Scotland. It was interesting to see, from the high footbridge, the insides of the tall wagons and just how battered the internal vanes are that separate the hoppers. The shiny, well used main line rails here contrast with the lightly used link to Bare Lane on the right.
