Blaenau Ffestiniog
Narrow gauge Fairlie locomotive Merddyn Emrys arrives in Blaenau Ffestiniog from Porthmadog, as seen from the front of an ATW Sprinter waiting to depart for Llandudno. I hadn't expected to see any steam trains but was assured by a local resident that one would appear shortly before the branch train left. However, it was connecting into private road coaches rather than the Conwy Valley service train.
