A view through the tramroad tunnel under the drive at Calke Abbey in August 2010 see image 36668. View looks towards Ticknall. Notice the almost circular bore at the far end, and the breadth of the hoops - there was a junction inside the tunnel, requiring this (quarry) end to be wider.
