Preston

Taking advantage of the Christmas closure for some permanent way work, Colas 73909 Saturn is seen operating at the south end of an otherwise deserted Preston station. Sister machine 73910 Jupiter was similarly employed nearby. There is no other apparent connection between the late lamented Cal-Mac Clyde Streakers and these very functional plant machines.
