Looking south west towards the multi-arched main entrance to the 1846 Tudor style station building at Richmond, North Yorkshire, in June 2011. Located at the end of a branch off the ECML at Eryholme Junction, south of Darlington, Richmond closed to passengers in March 1968. Following an unsuccessful spell as a garden centre the building has now been refurbished and put to use as a thriving visitor and community centre see image 35115.
