Blaydon Shed

Gresley class K2 2-6-0 no 61753 photographed on Blaydon shed in June 1958. The locomotive is standing on the departure line waiting to work south. The Colwick based K2 is thought to have been 'borrowed' by York shed to work the York goods on this occasion in place of the usual V2 or B16. The locomotive was eventually withdrawn from Colwick shed in September 1959.
