Porth
Looking towards Treherbert from Porth station on 31 January 2012. On the left is the former down track, now a long siding. The route is now single track forward to Treherbert, apart from the passing loop at Ystrad Rhondda. Token operation applies from Porth to Ystrad Rhondda and from there to Treherbert. The path running forward to the right of the railway is on the trackbed of the former Maerdy branch which ran under the right hand side of the road overbridge.
