Morecambe Promenade
Opened in 1907 as a replacement for original 1848 MH&R station, Morecambe Promenade finally closed to passengers in 1994. The building has fortunately been preserved see image 25011. This old photograph showing the station in its early days is reproduced here courtesy of Lancaster City Council.
