A view from Pocinho station approach across the goods yard to the the narrow gauge viaduct over the River Douro that until 1988 carried the Sabor line, which ran for 60 miles into the north east corner of Portugal. In the foreground are two wagons that are used to carry the surviving cement traffic on the broad gauge Douro Valley line from Porto. Just behind the cement pallets are the rusting remains of E213, a metre gauge Mallet 2-4-6-0T used on the Sabor line until freight finally ended in 1988.
